Analysis of US FDA 510k Clearance Data 2006 to 2011

Emergo Group performed an analysis of publicly available FDA 510(k) data pulled from the FDA website on 15 January 2013. After a sharp drop in submissions in 2010,the number FDA 510(k) submissions cleared by the FDA rebounded somewhat in 2011. Also, after several years of lengthening review times, the trend reversed in 2011.
